STORE POLICIES

CHANGING, MODIFYING, SUBSTITUTING ORDERS

We strive to serve customers as best as possible and understand that mistakes can happen. If you have placed an existing order and would like to make a change, we can assist under the following process:

Orders requiring modification will be canceled and the customer will be refunded the full amount minus a $10 fee, issued via gift card. Once the refund is received, the customer may place a new order on the website.

Powder and String will not place orders on behalf of customers due to fraud risks and the handling of sensitive payment information. Once an order is canceled, all transaction lead times restart.

RETURNS & CANCELED ORDERS

All canceled and returned orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All sales are final, including firearms, ammunition, and optics.

If an order exceeds 21 days without receipt of required documentation, the order will be canceled and refunded minus the 15% restocking fee.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders ship from distributor warehouses or in-store inventory within 3–10 business days via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are provided for UPS and FedEx shipments.

Flat-rate shipping applies only to the lower 48 states. We do not ship internationally or outside the lower 48. Orders placed outside these parameters will be canceled and assessed a restocking fee.

Orders will be flagged as fraud if the billing and shipping addresses do not match. In such cases, the order will be refunded via gift card so it may be placed correctly.

Serialized items and firearms will ship to the selected FFL dealer.

Do NOT use the FFL address as the shipping address.

GENERAL FIREARM SALES

All firearms, magazines, receivers, and restricted law-enforcement items are sold in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Some items may be restricted or prohibited in your area. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify local and state regulations prior to ordering.

All new firearms ship in the original manufacturer’s box and include magazines, accessories, and applicable warranties.

Firearm sales are final. Warranty work must be handled directly with the manufacturer within one year of purchase.

Accessories and special-order items not normally stocked are not covered under warranty unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.

PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

It is illegal to ship firearms to individuals who do not hold an active Federal Firearms License (FFL).

Firearms purchased online must be picked up in-store or shipped to an FFL dealer. We may verify the selected FFL prior to shipment. Customers are encouraged to contact the receiving FFL before purchasing.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES

You must be:

18+ to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition
21+ to purchase handgun ammunition

All ammunition ships ground with adult signature required. All ammunition sales are final.

Customers are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws. Always verify ammunition compatibility with your firearm.

CONDITIONS OF USE

By purchasing, you affirm that:

I am not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, any controlled substance
The sale does not violate any state or local law
I have never been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
I am not under indictment for, nor convicted of, a crime punishable by imprisonment over one year
I am not a fugitive from justice
I am not subject to a restraining order
I have not been adjudicated mentally defective or committed to a mental institution
I am not an illegal or unlawful alien
I have not been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces
I am at least 21 years old
I have not renounced U.S. citizenship

INDEMNIFICATION AND AGREEMENT TO DEFEND

If any representations made during purchase are inaccurate, or if these terms are violated, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Powder and String and its owners, agents, officers, and employees from any resulting liability or prosecution.

By placing an order, you release Powder and String from all liability related to the use, storage, handling, or transportation of purchased products.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER

All dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted individually only, not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action. This waiver is knowing, voluntary, and permanent.

TRADEMARKS

Powder & String trademarks and trade dress may not be used in any way that disparages the brand or causes customer confusion.

COPYRIGHT

All website content is the exclusive property of Powder & String and protected under U.S. and international copyright law.

PROTECTING YOUR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for safeguarding your username and password and all activity under your account.
